Ronnie Dowdy Qualifications & Requirements
- Must pass a Two year Physical to be hired.
- Must be at least 23 years old and have at least two (2) years OTR trucking Experience with a similar operation.
- Must have a valid freight class A CDL.
- No, DUI or DWI, none EVER in a Commercial Vehicle.
- No positive drug test results or refusals in work history.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past three (3) years and no preventable accidents involving a fatality, ever.
- No conviction for reckless driving within the past 36 months. Careless driving conviction requires management approval.
- Management discretion is used when reviewing FELONIES.
- Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- Job history for the past three (3) years must be verifiable with dates, phone numbers and addresses with no gaps in employment.
- Must have driven 12 months in the past 24 months, experience must be Semi-Tractor/Trailer minimum of 4 states driven.
- Must be able to meet all legal requirements to drive a commercial freight vehicle in the United States.

- Ronnie Dowdy’s experience in the trucking industry began shortly after high school in 1973 as an owner/operator. For ten years he worked as an owner/operator driving and operating his own truck.
- By 1987, RDI owned over 50 power units with a fleet of trailers, and a terminal facility was built to service the trucking fleet.
